Cable Assemblies for Aircraft Equipment

A leading manufacturer of aerospace equipment contacted CTL Manufacturing when they required a set of cable assemblies in a very short timeframe.

The manufacturer specialised in aircraft seating which had to be delivered to their customer within just six weeks. This posed a challenge for CTL Manufacturing who had to procure all the components, process the project and build 300 individual complex cables according to Beoing specification and regulations.

CTL engineers began by observing the drawings to advise on preferred sized parts and make design for manufacture alterations. Their experience in cable building then facilitated their development of a process for hand building the array of cables, which would ensure accuracy, before processing and performing final quality checks.

All 300 cable assemblies were successfully built to specification and delivered to the customer on time and to budget.
